At the beginning of 2019, the project of Samaranch Tennis Time entered Qujing, the second largest city in Yunnan, where a 10-day tennis winter camp held for children.

On 8 February, 25 students and their parents witnessed the tennis winter camp opening ceremony at tennis training center of Qujing culture and sports park. This camp were hosted by Samaranch Foundation and Sichuan Laiang Sport. The participators come from southwest China and many of them were the first time travelling long distance.
